Hermes wins tender to provide Worley Parsons with Microwave Link - Sakhalin

Hermes has won a contract from Worley Parsons to provide a Microwave link for their operations on Sakhalin Island. Worley Parsons require connectivity between their offshore Arkutun Dagi platform and Chayvo, the other of 3 oil and gas fields on Sakhalin.

Worley Parsons was awarded a contract by Exxon Neftegas Limited (ENL) for engineering, procurement and technical support services for the Arkutun-Dagi offshore platform topsides/drilling rig at Sakhalin Island. This is one of the largest floatover platforms in the world.

Hermes are providing Microwave Digital Radio Equipment to provide two microwave links in 7GHz band from the offshore Arkutun Dagi platform independently to the Chayvo OPF and Chayvo Wellsite. Each system will carry voice and data traffic for
general telecoms purposes in addition to data signals associated with other systems.

With a Head Office in Moscow and local engineers based in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Hermes provides 24/7 service and support to our customers on Sakhalin.

Sakhalin-1 Arkutun Dagi is an offshore oil and gas development at Sakhalin Island on the east coast of Russia.
