Hermes is quick to respond to comms requirements in Libya

Hermes Datacomms has responded quickly to the communication requirements of oil and gas companies in Libya following the demise of Colonel Gadaffi on 20th October 2011.

In the past week, Hermes has installed 2 new VSAT systems for companies working in the oil and gas sector. Installing these systems has provided communication links from our clients offices based in Tripoli to their Headquarters in Europe via Hermes' U.K Teleport.

Glynn Wagg, Country Manager Libya explains, "Hermes Datacomms has continued to provide full service and maintenance support during the uprising from our office based in Tripoli. We are able to respond quickly to the needs of the oil and gas companies to get their communication systems installed quickly and efficiently. The majority of oil and gas company offices were affected during the Civil uprising and as companies are filtering back into Libya to re-start their operations, they will need to re-establish their comms systems".
