Charles Cox, Chief Operating Officer, U.S.A, explains, "The exhibition is a great opportunity for Hermes to demonstrate its global presence and its ability to provide comms in some of the most challenging and remote locations in the world. We were very pleased with the increased activity on the show floor last year and look forward to meeting with current and potential clients In November".
The Offshore Communications Conference focuses on the communication needs for the offshore oil and gas, shipping and maritime markets.
The goal of the conference is to present solutions to the end-user, regardless of the technology behind the solution - satellite, wireless, fiber, etc., while also addressing the challenges that come with implementing and operating any communications network - interoperability, security, cost containment, scalability - whether in the Gulf of Mexico or international waters.
