BACKGROUND
Petronas Carigali was starting operations in Turkmenistan and approached Hermes requiring WAN connectivity over 3 sites in Turkmenistan, including one offshore.
PROJECT
The initial project consisted of 3 sites, which consisted of offshore platform, supply base and Ashgabat office. The network required data and voice capabilities with internet breakouts in Malaysia and UK. Since then, project expanded to include two more offshore sites and one onshore due to new gas project of Petronas. The network is subject to expansion in the future.
