Increasing the Hermes presence in Kazakhstan

Last month Hermes welcomed a new Sales and Marketing Manager when Adam Torry joined them.  Adam will be working in a Business Development capacity, spending more than half his time in Kazakhstan where he hopes to start developing and increasing the Hermes presence there.              

Giles Middleton, MD, said, “Adam brings a wealth of marketing, sales and business development experience with him and he is well used to working away from the UK.”   

Adam said “I have held positions in Dubai, Egypt and Zambia to name but a few, though a lot of my experience was gained working in the financial sector in these countries”. 

Adam also commented, “I am looking forward a long and fruitful relationship with the company and getting involved in the new and exciting projects that are taking shape overseas.  Hermes is excellent at all aspects of communications, be it on or off-shore and I intend to really ramp up their VSAT and fibre communications in the O & G and mining sectors”.
