Hermes is piloting a new monitoring system - Orion - which monitors all network components in real time and presents the results in a simple graphical format, with drill-down access to event logs and device status. The system will be available to clients from Q2 2008. Hermes engineers have found that sharing information effectively is the key to solving problems fast, Orion will help do this.
The system will feature a Real-time "dashboard" showing key parameters, and is accessible through a secure web-based interface.
