Hermes Datacommunications International Ltd is a British company owned by its directors and backed by private equity.

Since its incorporation in 1990 Hermes has focussed on providing service for oil and gas companies worldwide. We now have a strong regional presence in Russia, Central Asia, North Africa and Malaysia, with service partnerships in the Middle East, the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions.

We provide connectivity to support oil & gas operations, including microwave, satellite and fibre links, managed networks, PBX, video-conferencing and computer networking. We provide international links both as extensions of existing corporate networks and as part of a fully-managed solution. We provide support and service at all network layers, ranging from basic physical links to a fully managed IT & Communications package for remote sites.

Our approach is to manage and control all aspects of the network, end-to-end, including licensing and logistics at both ends of the satellite link. That way, we ensure networks are delivered on-time and on budget, comply with local laws, and meet the most demanding operational standards.

Hermes’ local service centres provide onsite service and support.  Our earthstations in the UK, Russia, US and Singapore are linked by a global fibre network to provide international leased line, voice and internet access, together with network management and monitoring.
